The RüBio project will become a place blue bioeconomy experience and experiments. Local biomass production and guided tours that explain the different production chains will be meaningfully linked. During the BaMS visit, it was really busy in the huge area: renovation work, conversions, installation of aquaculture tanks and control systems, strategic plannings.
One day soon, a glazed visitor tunnel will lead through the entire system with its interwoven stations without disrupting the sensitive processes. We are looking forward to the opening, of which the date is not finally determined.
Soon, little will remind on that the future bioeconomy model location was once a dairy farm.
The newly renovated facility offers many possibilities for biological productions. For example, some of the stainless steel tanks will soon be filled with locally brewed beer instead of milk.
